Car crash with wild boar kills father and injures son in Alentejo

A man died and his son was injured in the early hours of this Thursday on the EN387 national road, in the municipality of Cuba, in the district of Beja, when the vehicle they were driving collided with a wild boar. The father was taken to the hospital in Évora, but did not survive, while the son suffered minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
