The artist passed away on Wednesday due to pneumonia, after fighting the disease and its complications for a month. Rada was a pioneer in uniting candombe with rock and jazz, crossing the boundaries of the music industry to become an icon of Río de la Plata culture and a reference for the Afro-Uruguayan community.
