The Emergency Protection and Rescue Unit (UEPS) of the Republican National Guard recorded more than 400 operational interventions since 2024, focused on search and rescue missions in mountain environments. These operations include location, rescue and evacuation activities in highly complex and risky areas, demonstrating the reinforcement of GNR's response capacity in these types of scenarios.
