With luxurious costumes, songs, and imitations of female types, Darwin found success in Brazilian movie theaters long before celebrated names of Brazilian transformism. The film is considered lost, and Darwin's career has remained virtually forgotten in Brazilian cultural memory, although female impersonation performances were already part of the theatrical programming of the era.
