Senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), rapporteur of the PEC that ends the 6x1 work schedule, stated on Wednesday that he expects the Senate to conclude the processing of the proposal next week, with votes in the CCJ and on the Floor. Aziz, an ally of President Lula, defended that the matter has strong electoral appeal and that rejecting it would be political "suicide" for any candidate, warning that Brazilian workers eagerly await its approval. The topic was discussed in a meeting between Lula and the presidents of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre, and the Chamber, Hugo Motta.
