Angola and DR Congo move forward with railway section in Lobito

The Presidents of Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo, João Lourenço and Félix Tshisekedi, formalized in Kinshasa the award of a railway section of more than a thousand kilometers to the Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil África. The project aims to connect the Lobito region in Angola to the interior of the DRC, integrating into a strategic logistics corridor for the region. In addition to the railway sector, the two leaders also discussed issues related to oil and energy within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
