Former aide to the president of the Municipal Chamber of Seropédica is shot dead after car is hit

A man identified as Hugo dos Reis Amaral, a former legislative aide to the president of the Municipal Chamber of Seropédica, Bruno de Almeida Santos (PRD), was shot and killed after his vehicle was hit on Tuesday in the Boa Esperança neighborhood, in Baixada Fluminense. The victim worked in the councilman's office until 2024. Military Police from the 24th BPM (Queimados) found the body at the scene and isolated the area for investigation. The parliamentarian lamented the homicide through a statement.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
