Former FC Porto and Académica player who went missing admitted addiction to gambling, alcohol and drugs

Ákos Buzsáky, a former football player who represented FC Porto and Académica between 2002 and 2005, was reported missing in Hungary, his country of birth. A Portuguese champion and UEFA Cup winner with the dragons in 2002/03, he was last seen in Budapest on the 18th. In 2022, the Hungarian player had publicly admitted to suffering from "addiction" to gambling, alcohol and drugs.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
