Satellite images released by Planet Labs show the devastation caused by a mudslide on the border between Nepal and Tibet. The photos reveal a trail of destruction left by the passing mud, which reached layers up to one and a half meters high. Settlements along the Trishuli River in the Betrawoti Bazaar region would have been completely destroyed. As of the last update, the Nepal Tourism Board reported 384 missing tourists, of which 291 were non-Nepalese.

Arrested in Rio de Mouro with hundreds of doses of cocaine and hashish

A 27-year-old man was arrested by the PSP in Rio de Mouro, Sintra, on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest, carried out by the Criminal Investigation Division of Sintra, resulted from the recovery of a vehicle in a situation of breach of trust. During the operation, police seized approximately 599 doses of cocaine and 3,700 doses of hashish, as well as 148.20 euros in cash and two mobile phones. The suspect was brought before the Judicial Authority for the first judicial interrogation, being subjected to the precautionary measure of bi-weekly presentations.
