Airport worker dies after being struck by plane during maneuver in Canada

A ground support worker died after being struck by a plane at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Montreal, Canada. The victim, identified as Oscar Robayo, 39 years old, worked for aviation services company Samsic since March 2025 as a runway marshal. The accident occurred on Monday night (24), around 7:30 PM, in the airport apron. According to reports, the worker allegedly tripped and fell while the aircraft was in motion. He received medical attention and was taken to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
