The serious migratory crisis in Ceuta divides Castelló. What has happened?
El Periódico Mediterráneo - General26 August 2026 at 14:50
The serious migratory crisis in Ceuta, which erupted on July 30 when more than 50,000 people crossed the border from Morocco by swimming or jumping over the fence, causing problems for the citizens of Ceuta, now divides the city of Castelló. The reason is that, to show support for Ceuta in the conflict, two different gatherings were called in the capital of Plana, on the same date — September 2, the day Ceuta's Day is celebrated — and at the same time — 8:00 PM.
