Young woman injured in motorbike accident in Ribeira Brava

A young woman of about 20 years old was injured following a collision between a motorcycle and a car, this Wednesday, in the tunnel between Tabua and Ribeira Brava, in Madeira. The motorcyclist complained of back pain and was assisted by the Mixed Firefighters of Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol, being later transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital, in Funchal, for evaluation and medical treatment.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
