Spanish priest Fernando Cuevas, member of Opus Dei, became known as the "Tinder priest" after helping 1,280 parishioners find a partner and get married over the last 15 years. Born in Ibiza and over 70 years old, Cuevas uses WhatsApp and a simple questionnaire to make matches, unlike traditional dating apps. In an interview with the ACI Prensa website, he stated that his method uses its own criteria to lead relationships to marriage, saying that "there are many people who long for true and eternal love in Christ." The priest acknowledged that this activity transformed his priestly ministry.
