Half Marathon Marvelous City, organized by Santander, will have different medals to award different performances

The Santander Select Wonderful City Half Marathon, which takes place this Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, in its third edition, innovates by awarding its runners with different medals according to their completion time. The medals have distinct colors and form groups such as Black Platoon, Gold Squad, Red Crew and Blue Gang, recognizing different performance levels. According to Fabio Mitsumori, product coordinator at Norte Marketing Esportivo, organizer of the event alongside Running Land and Santander, the initiative aims to value athletes according to their performance, potentially serving as an incentive for runners to speed up at the end of the race.
